    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Every QRnetworks service plan  comes with a 30 day money back guarantee. In order to be eligible for the refund, Customer must cancel service within thirty days of activation and return any QRnetworks-provided equipment in good working order.  Activation fees will not be refunded unless service does not qualify.

FTTN uses a dedicated phone line connection to the home. FTTN may also have additional 'dry loop' tariff fees that need to be paid to access the copper phone line from the telecommunications companies (Bell).

Not yet. The CRTC expects to release the disaggregated decision soon.

FTTN can slow down if the QRnetworks doesn't have enough capacity, especially evident at peak evening usage. With that said you should get consistent speeds 24/7 and almost never have a problem. Cable Internet is more likely to  give you inconsistent speeds, high latency, and degraded quality usually around peak usage times.

FTTN requires  VDSL2 modem. We are currently supply our customers with a SmartRG SR555ac

Fibre to the Node (FTTN) connection, an fibre optic cable is laid to a central cabinet in your community (the node), where it connects to your home using existing copper wiring.

FTTN offers typical download speeds of up to 100Mbps and upload speeds of up to 20Mbps (bonded).

To verify availability of service at your home, please enter your phone number on this page. This will tell you if you are able to have the service, as well as  the maximum speed available at that address.

We are truly  unlimited .  You will never be charged any transfer fee on our services, whatever amount you download or upload.

Yes, our FTTN connections use the same technology as other providers. So if you’re transfering from another ISP it is important to know that the speed you were getting will be the same. What changes is the customer service and technical support staff, the price, and the billing system. QR Network's does not offer traditional support (no phone support or sales). Our self-service portal allows customer to find answers to most questions and issues. You can also join QR Network's forums. It's anonymous online community to talk to friendly people facing the same challenges.

We do not throttle ports on any of our services.

BETA means that some feature or specific part of the service is currently still in testing mode, and can cause issues if not used properly. There may still be some issues to fix or test more before removing the Beta status. It's generally safe to order, but be sure that you understand the risks that come with it. We are currently in beta stage for a reason: the bugs need to be identified so that they can be fixed.
